Creating a Group

Creating a Group

ComplianceBox allows you to manage internal company divisions, operating areas, terminals, or other ways to divide your company using Groups. Groups apply to the Administrator Dashboard, and aren't visible to drivers in the mobile app.
Before creating a group, at least one individual must have the Group Admin Role. Please see Adding a User (Driver / Administrator) for more information.
Group Administrators will only have access to drivers that have been added to a Group they are assigned to.

Creating a new group in ComplianceBox is quick and easy using the administrator dashboard.
  1. Login as an Administrator to your companies dashboard page at https://server.compliancebox.app.
  2. Use the Navigation Menu to select "Manage Groups" under the "Users" section.

  3. This will show a listing of all the groups you have already created (if any). Click "Create Group" to add a new one.
  4. Fill out the Create a Group Form. Every new group requires a few fields to be completed before the group can be created.
    1. Name (Required) - The name you would like to give the new Group
    2. Assign Group Administrators (Required) - Every group requires at least one (1) group administrator. Select the administrator from the dropdown list and then click "add". Group Administrators may be assigned to multiple groups.
    3. Assign Drivers (Required) - Every group requires at least one (1) driver to be assigned to the group. Drivers may be assigned to multiple groups.
    4. Advanced Mode Settings (Optional) - It is possible to require all drivers in this group to use a particular mode when completing an inspection. See Advanced Vs Default Inspection Mode for more information.
      1. Enable - All drivers in this group will only be able to perform inspections using the Advanced mode.
      2. Disable -  All drivers in this group will only be able to perform inspections using the Default mode.
    5. Submit - Once all the information on the form is correct, click this button to create the group.
  5. The new group will be displayed within the list of groups.
